Rising house prices benefits some people, and hurt others (renters), rising food prices hurts almost all voters. Looking at long dated US inflation indices, the inflationary 70s is very clear, as it the recent bout of food inflation.
However, grain prices, and agricultural related stocks have been weak. Is the food inflation trade done?
