It didnt matter in 98/99 and I dont think it will matter this time. AI is the perfect rationale for another tech bubble.
- The market is currently very strong, no matter what data comes out, its steadily up since May. It may be due for a pullback, (I hope like many others) but after that, it just seems primed to build a massive FOMO bubble.
- Altcoins are coming back, meme stocks are coming back, an eventual top should still be months away.
Talking to some of my organisations suppliers on their AI strategy, for general productivity they basically all opted for CoPilot because it integrated with other MS apps and they could better manage risk. Seems like costs get rolled into cost of the basic product to compete in whatever market, whether competing for eyeballs, clicks or productivity. Some cream to skim for bespoke implementations and 'support'.
Interesting. I have co-pilot but have not used it. But this would be a classic Microsoft strategy to bundle to destroy the competition. US used to try and stop this sort of stuff - but has given up.

So shut up and buy risk assets! (respectfully)
My 2 cents. :-)
This is a perfectly rationale view. And as they say - it takes two view to make a market!

Have you followed CoreWeave? Very interesting company with an even more interesting funding structure to acquire NVIDIA semi conductors.
That CoreWeave was struggling to IPO was a reason to short NVIDIA....
I’m always weary when I see a product buyer being funded by the product seller (NVIDIA) and the seller major shareholder (Blackrock)
Can I nominate you for an Oscars.
Very kind. I plan to make a few more and post to my Tiktok account - @rampagingruss
