Might the fall in births data i Scotland be explained by Scots emigrating to other part of the UK and the world?
Sadly, dont have migration data back before 1970. But net migration in to Scotland has been strong since 2000, and birth rates are still falling...
I’m not sure of the IVF criteria in Denmark but in Scotland there can be a lag of up to 3 years to qualify for the procedure paid by the NHS including a long waiting list.
