We're already slow marching toward central planning and increased authoritarianism, no thanks. Wake me up when US government spending is back below 15% of GDP and the path to neofeudalism is closed.
I agree with what you say, but with regards to tax competition - this is a messy diplomatic issue that can't be resolved at the national level. And given that international cooperation is so frayed today I doubt that we will see any meaningful progress.
Really intetesting ideas. Any thoughts on a cap on government spending? Focuses governments on governing vs being the economy.
